Sara LaRose Wood is a Licensed Professional counselor, supervisor, and counselor educator in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She has her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Regent University as well as a Master of Arts in Community Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Sara also enjoys a part-time faculty position at Capella University teaching the next generation of counselors and conducting research on the relationship between spirituality and wellness.
As a counselor, her mission is to minister to the brokenhearted both within and outside of the church and to be a vessel of God’s healing, freedom, comfort, and provision for those in need. When it comes to marriages, she specializes in working with spouses of sexual addicts, addressing co-dependency, unhealthy relationship concerns, and providing premarital and marital therapy.
