Eileen T. Buck, M.A., LCSW

Eileen is a Christian, Licensed Clinical Social Worker who integrates her faith with sound clinical practice. She brings extensive experience in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric hospital care, medical social work, school social work, and trauma-informed treatment. Eileen is trained in working with individuals who have experienced acute and complex trauma, including military-related trauma, childhood adversity, and relational wounds. She incorporates evidence-based trauma approaches to help clients process painful experiences, build resilience, and restore a sense of safety and stability.

She is deeply committed to building meaningful therapeutic relationships with both individuals and couples. With couples, she helps partners strengthen friendship, increase intimacy, and develop healthy compromise using Gottman Method Couples Therapy alongside other evidence-based interventions. She is especially attentive to trauma dynamics within relationships, helping couples understand triggers, attachment injuries, and reactive patterns that may be rooted in past experiences. Her work with individuals is integrative and grounded in several evidence-based approaches, drawing from modalities such as CBT, DBT, and attachment-based interventions, blending them thoughtfully to meet the unique goals and presentation of each client.

Eileen, who earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California and her Master of Social Work degree from San Diego State University, provides a warm, trusting, and supportive therapeutic environment, incorporating biblical principles for clients who desire faith integration.

As the wife of a 26-year military veteran, Eileen has a particular passion for supporting military couples and families as they navigate the unique stressors of service life.
